Why might Reveal need a supplier password? Supplier portals don't offer read-only connections the way email does, so Reveal signs in with your approval to collect invoices. Email, OneDrive and SharePoint use a permission from the provider instead, so Reveal never sees those passwords. How is my password or token protected? Encrypted before it is stored, and only decrypted at the moment it is needed to connect. It is never shown to anyone through Reveal, including your accountant. Can Reveal change things in my accounts? No. Email, OneDrive and SharePoint connections are read-only, so Reveal can't send, edit or delete anything. In supplier accounts it only retrieves financial documents. Who at Reveal can access my information? Authorised Reveal staff, only where necessary to run, support or secure the service. Each person has their own identity and multi-factor authentication, and sensitive access is recorded. What happens when I disconnect? Reveal stops retrieving from that source straight away, and the stored password or token is deleted. Evidence already retrieved stays available to your accountant until they ask Reveal to delete it or the retention period ends. No. Connecting an inbox to Reveal is not the same as giving your accountant your inbox. Reveal's software reads messages to recognise receipts and invoices.
